| Administrative History | Tarporley Parish Council was established under the County of Chester Review Order, 1936, which also abolished Tarporley Urban District Council [see LUT list] and included the area covered by the UDC within Northwich Rural District Council [see LRNo list]. Under the Order part of Tarporley township was transferred to Utkinton township, while parts of Eaton and Utkinton were added to Tarporley township. |
